Just got over a case of cellulitis. I ended up going to urgent care as my finger was getting rather swollen and red. Sure enough - I had a staph. I continue to get these and it is so frustrating.
My wonderful sister-in-law was down this past weekend and helped me as I had to soak the finger and keep it clean. The doctor had made an incision to drain the "gunk" - Cindy is trained to do this kind of stuff so she wrapped my finger up real good and waited on me, which was so unnecessary although I appreciated it very much. It was just nice to have her down and visiting.
Better days ahead? We can only hope so.
Some individuals find it difficult to listen to people with health issues, and would prefer to have the option of reading about them if they feel up to it. I respect their feelings, and felt a blog was a good idea. Here you can catch up on what has been going on with me. I don't look sick, and I am not in a wheelchair nor do I walk with a cane. I have what they call invisible disabilities.
